Sound advice, honestly earned

Having built his career on a “been there, done that” perspective, Chris eagerly takes on any number of roles on a daily basis. In fact, he started his career on the data center floor, working every shift he could to understand its nuances and become prepared for a career in consulting in his domain. That's experience that is impossible to simulate. Today he works both stateside and internationally in Deloitte’s financial services industry and banking sector helping the entire industry transform.

Legacy and technology combined

Chris’s focus is cloud engineering and technology strategy, helping banking clients use new technology to solve critical business challenges. Banking, like many industries, is at an inflection point thanks to globalization, emergent technology, changing regulation, and evolving consumer expectations. But the industry has specific hurdles that can make responding to all that change challenging—little automation, manual processes, legacy data centers, and a lack of organizational agility, to name a few. Applying new solutions in this existing environment takes more than skill; it takes creativity, empathy and ingenuity.

More than platforms

Those traits are ones that Chris has honed over the years, and they’re as important a part of his value to clients as the Deloitte ecosystem itself. The strategies he develops to help clients are multifaceted, including products, tools, and collaborations that add up to streamlined and effective solutions. This helps impart agility and scalability (not to mention cost optimization) that could take clients much longer to develop organically. Chris has his hand on the fast-forward button.
