“Talent 2020: Surveying the talent paradox from the employee perspective - The view from the health care sector” highlights key talent trends in the health care sector and their possible impact on organizations. Key findings include:

  • Twenty-nine percent of health care survey respondents report that morale has improved or significantly improved over the past year
  • More employees in the health care sector report they have been actively looking for a job during the past year than in other sectors
  • Surveyed health care employees care more than others about certain corporate commitments when evaluating a potential employer, including work-life balance/flexibility programs, supporting innovation and mentoring opportunities

These results, combined with the important role the talent agenda plays as the health care sector navigates imminent market challenges, provide a clear outline of focus areas that health care employers should consider within their talent strategies for 2014 and beyond.
