Andrew Elcik
M&A Audit and Assurance Leader

Andrew currently serves as the M&A Audit and Assurance Leader, a position he has held since June of 2021. In this new role, he is tasked with strengthening the firm’s go-to-market capabilities and aligning the operating approach across all businesses. Andy brings vast experience and deep technical knowledge, particularly in Private Equity. He has a passion for M&A and a profound commitment to our multi-disciplinary market. Previous to this role, Andy held the role of National Managing Partner for Accounting and Reporting Advisory (ARA) Services where he led the execution of a coordinated strategy for the Audit and Assurance (A&A) practice. He also served as a member of the US Audit and Assurance Executive Committee. In addition, Andy was one of the key leaders who designed and co-led the implementation of the AATS Joint go-to-market coordination between A&A and Advisory.
Prior to ARA, he served as one of the senior partners in Special Acquisition Services (SAS), serving one of the largest global leveraged buyout firms, providing direct advisory services to this distinguished client and their portfolio of companies. He has extensive relationships in both A&A and Risk & Financial Advisory and began his career focusing on audits of large Securities and Exchange Commission registrants. Andrew has worked on transactions that span various industries in 20 different countries and five continents. He spent five years in Hong Kong serving as managing director and leader of the Special Acquisition Services (SAS) group in the Asia Pacific region. In addition to his domestic and international leadership experience, he has helped private equity portfolio companies with both their ongoing tax and audit requirements, as well as other business needs and transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offering, debt refinancing, and special dividends.
Andrew holds a BS in accounting from Case Western Reserve University and an MBA from Columbia University School of Business. He is a certified public accountant (CPA), a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
