Adam is the National Internal Audit Financial Services (IA FSI) leader in Deloitte’s Risk & Financial Advisory (RFA) practice, where he has more than 30 years of global experience delivering strategic risk and control advisory services to FSI audit and relationship clients. These services include a variety of engagements including IA FSI outsourcing, co-sourcing, Internal Audit of the Future strategy work on topics such as talent, delivery, and automation as well as a wide range of enterprise-wide risk services.
In addition to Adam’s IA FSI leadership role, he serves as the lead on a number of Deloitte’s IA FSI strategic accounts. In these roles, Adam leads our outsourcing and co-sourcing delivery teams, which includes global coordination and oversight for all our risk and control related services. Adam also was in the role of chief audit executive at a publicly-traded financial services company and currently sits on the Northern Illinois University Executive Board for Accounting as well as for the College of Business.
Adam is also the National Greenhouse dean for all Internal Audit labs. In this role, he is the domain subject matter specialist for executive transitions, overall strategy, and risk management. Adam is responsible for lab offering content, provides leadership with design and lab delivery and oversees our roster of lab facilitators and producers. He has grown the program to now include seven IA lab offerings. Pre-COVID, Adam has led/participated in one lab per month over the last four years.
And, Adam co-leads our National IA Innovation team responsible for identifying and driving new tools into the practice. He has also been a co-author on a number of whitepapers focused on innovation.
