Bhuvy is a principal and leads Deloitte’s Private Equity Consulting practice and M&A and Restructuring’s Consulting private equity practice in the US. He has advised in transactions totaling more than $200B in enterprise value.
Bhuvy’s experience is in advising clients on their growth and value capture agendas. He routinely advises clients on new and adjacent market entry, global market sizing, profitability assessments, customer segmentation, and new product and services strategy. Further, in the front end of M&A, he specializes in creation of inorganic growth strategies, acquisition pathways, screening and prioritization of targets, commercial and operational/carve-out due diligence, cost and revenue synergy estimation, and carve-out and stand-up planning of businesses with a particular emphasis on sales and marketing functions. Bhuvy also works with clients on defining and executing 100-day plans post diligence and executing transformation programs to capture value.
His past experiences include portfolio analysis and shaping for multi-billion dollar businesses, numerous market analyses to help companies grow by entering adjacent markets, identification and screening of targets for M&A, conducting commercial/market and operational diligence to help strategic and private equity buyers make investment decisions into businesses, and pricing analyses. He also had extensive experience working with defense contractors, government agencies, and sovereign wealth funds on issues of critical importance.
Bhuvy holds a BA in Economics (cum laude) from Lawrence University, a BS in Electrical Engineering (Magna Cum Laude) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Anderson School at UCLA.
