Bill Bastedo
Specialist Executive | Civil Space Programs
Bill is a leader in our Systems Engineering practice advising NASA, NOAA, and FAA space aerospace systems clients. He has over 35 years of space experience, including 10 as a leader in NASA Human Spaceflight Programs including the Space Shuttle, Space Station, Space Payloads programs at NASA HQ/Reston, KSC and JSC where he led the development of the ISS on-orbit assembly sequence, the optimization of the pre-launch processing of Space Shuttle Orbiters and the development, test, and launch of the first three elements of the International Space Station.
Bill developed and led the NASA practice at Booz Allen Hamilton for 16 years. His teams delivered work at all NASA centers and across all Mission Directorates.
His personal expertise in is Systems Engineering of complex space systems and Program Management. Bill holds a Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from the University of Notre Dame and has published numerous papers for conferences and peer reviewed journals.
