Brian Maloney

Brian is an Audit & Assurance partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP and has more than 25 years of experience providing auditing and accounting advisory services to large, multinational, complex clients. Brian has extensive SEC-related experience, including transfers of interest, carve-outs, business combinations, recapitalizations, liquidations, initial and secondary public equity offerings, SPACs, and public and private debt offerings.

Brian is the Greater Washington marketplace leader for the Audit & Assurance business, as well as leading Deloitte’s Greater Washington Accounting & Reporting Advisory practice. He advises companies as they navigate financial and non-financial reporting challenges. Brian also serves as the Technology, Media and Telecom industry leader overseeing the integration of our audit and assurance services within Deloitte’s Mergers, Acquisitions, and Restructuring Services (MARS).

Brian is a graduate of Virginia Tech, majoring in both accounting and finance, and is an active member of the Pamplin College Business School Advisory Council and the Advisory Board for Accounting and Information Systems. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia.
