Crystal Andersen

Crystal leads Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory’s finance transformation practice for investment management. She has more than 20 years of experience serving many of Deloitte’s financial services clients in the areas of accounting, reporting, and internal controls from both an advisory and external audit perspective.

She advises finance and operations executives on transforming finance functions for both the corporate level and fund business. Her areas of experience include designing target operating models, finance modernization and automation initiatives, finance risk management, alignment of data for global financial reporting, M&A diligence and integration, and accounting and reporting for complex business structures and products related to mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity funds, broker-dealers, and investment managers. 

Crystal’s experience also includes significant lifecycle transactions including new product launches, acquisitions, initial public offerings, restructuring, and liquidation in the financial services market. 

In addition to her passion for helping clients address their complex business challenges, Crystal has been a champion for Deloitte’s talent, diversity, and inclusion initiatives and individual professionals in their career development as coach or mentor. 

Crystal is a Certified Public Accountant in New York, Illinois, and Iowa and a member of the AICPA.
