D. Douglas Alkema

Doug is the leader of Deloitte’s US Industrial Products & Construction (IP&C) audit practice. In this role, he has responsibility for developing resources on auditing and accounting matters and for providing insights, leading practices, and solutions to the US practice. Doug has more than 30 years of experience working serving a variety of multinational clients in the manufacturing, aerospace and defense, transportation, and technology industries. He also has significant experience in consulting on complex accounting issues in Deloitte’s National Office, and has worked as a professional accounting fellow in the SEC’s Office of the Chief Accountant.

Doug graduated with honors from Clemson University, where he received a BS in finance with a concentration in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is a registered CPA in Illinois, Iowa, and South Carolina.
