Daniel Bolgren

Daniel is a principal in Deloitte’s Energy & Chemicals practice with more than 15 years of experience delivering strategy and transformation projects for clients. He currently serves as the firm’s US Biofuels Leader and US Consulting Sustainability, Climate, and Equity (SC&E) Leader for the Energy & Chemicals sector.

Daniel’s work across growth strategy, business and cost transformation, operating model design, mergers and acquisitions, and innovation projects has centered on helping companies build and sustain distinct sources of competitive advantage and unlock value. Daniel brings deep industry experience having served companies across the traditional and renewable fuels value chains including integrated energy companies, agricultural companies, independent renewable fuels manufacturers, independent refiners, chemicals manufacturers, retail fueling services and products providers, and hard-to-abate transport sector customers.

Prior to joining Deloitte, he worked as a process engineer designing and managing the development of large refining and chemicals facilities globally. He holds both a Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
