Danielle Moon

Danielle Moon is a former Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Senior Executive with nearly 25 years of experience developing, implementing, assessing, and evaluating health care policies and processes. She currently oversees projects that involve the implementation of innovative health care delivery and payment models. She also provides strategic policy advice and consultation to senior executives of national and regional health plans as they seek to comply with Medicare Advantage and Part D statutory and regulatory requirements.

Danielle joined Deloitte after 17 years at CMS, where she held a series of senior executive roles culminating in oversight of the Medicare Advantage program. As a member of the CMS senior leadership team, Danielle engaged with senior executives of national and regional insurance companies and health care providers on Medicare program compliance, contracting, quality improvement, and policy matters. She also directed the implementation of significant legislation impacting the health care industry, including the Affordable Care Act.

Danielle earned her J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and her M.P.A. from the George Washington University. She is a member of the Maryland Bar.
