Diane Craanen

Diane is an Audit & Assurance partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, based in the Chicago office, leading growth in the Financial Services industry. Diane has 20 years of experience leading a broad set of client engagement teams, ranging from small, private companies to large SEC registrants. She has significant experience in financial services, particularly in the insurance sector, having served property & casualty, life insurance and annuity clients and health plans.

She has significant knowledge and experience with complex GAAP and statutory accounting and reporting matters and served in Deloitte’s Insurance Industry Professional Practice group as a technical and consultation resource for our insurance practice. Diane currently serves as the Insurance Sector leader for the Chicago and Milwaukee Audit & Assurance businesses.

She holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from Indiana University–Bloomington.
