Dina Wiesen

Dina is a managing director in the Passthroughs Group in the National Tax Office of Deloitte Tax LLP in the New York and New Jersey area. She specializes in tax issues arising in connection with the formation, ongoing operation, and exit of partnerships. She has advised clients in multiple industries regarding the US federal income tax consequences of the use of partnerships in a range of transactions, including domestic and cross-border restructurings.

Dina speaks regularly at leading national tax conferences, including those sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Taxation, Practising Law Institute, USC Gould School of Law Tax Institute, Tax Executives Institute, and New York State Bar Association. She has authored or co-authored items on partnership taxation for Deloitte and other publishers, including Tax Notes, Practising Law Institute, and USC Gould School of Law.

Dina received her BA, summa cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania, earned her JD from Duke University School of Law, and was a visiting student at Oxford University. Dina is a member of the Tax Sections of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, and the New Jersey State Bar Association.
