Harrison assists individuals and US and foreign-based multinational enterprises with US cross-border tax planning and compliance, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) controversies, rulings, and determinations and assistance under tax treaties. He served as legislation attorney and counsel on the staff of the Joint Committee on Taxation, where he assisted congress in its consideration, drafting, and explanation of code provisions on international tax, and its advice and consent duties with respect to tax treaties. After graduating from law school, he clerked for Judge Max Rosenn of the US Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.
Harrison has co-authored numerous articles in tax publications. He has served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and has been a frequent speaker at tax conferences organized by Deloitte and other organizations.
Harrison earned a BA with general honors in mathematics and a JD from University of Chicago, where he worked on the University of Chicago Law Review.
