Ian Wright
Global Sales Excellence Leader
Ian is Deloitte’s Global Consulting Sales Excellence leader, responsible for defining creative solutions, supporting contractual constructs to support our clients largest transformational cross border constructs, and creating growth opportunities. For the last 30 years, he has primarily been focused on the Energy industry, and has deep expertise delivering complex technology enabled business transformation programs to Power, Utilities & Renewables; and Oil, Gas & Chemicals clients. His clients include a wide variety of Investor Owned and Public Utilities where he has served both in program roles and as Deloitte’s Lead Client Service Partner. Ian has also undertaken a variety of advisory and strategy engagements and has facilitated board strategy meetings for some of Deloitte’s largest Energy clients. Sample clients include FirstEnergy, PSE, NRG, DTE, NYPA, CPS Energy, Shell and Exxon. He previously served as SAP Practice Lead, Sales Excellence Lead and Public Utilities Practice Lead.
Ian lives in Philadelphia with his wife Sheila. He serves on the Board of Trustees for The Franklin Institute and is heavily engaged in philanthropy to promote and support STEM education to underserved children in Philadelphia. He and Sheila have established a scholarship fund to support underserved students in achieving a college degree. Other pass times include cooking, yoga, running and keeping fit.
