Jason Hunt

Jason is a principal within Deloitte & Touche LLP’s Cyber Risk Services practice with more than 15 years of professional services experience. His clients are primarily within the Energy, Resources & Industrials industry, with a focus specifically on the Industrial Products & Construction and Energy & Chemicals sectors.

Jason is a specialist in risk identification and evaluating both IT and operational (OT) environments supporting complex business processes. He has extensive experience and proficiency with security practices that have been developed through work performed serving a portfolio of multinational clients. While leading the design and rollout of Deloitte’s OT assessment models, remediation approaches, and operate capabilities, Jason has developed advanced capabilities in the area of Industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things (IoT) more broadly. His IoT experience has focused specifically on the securitization of connected systems designed to help his clients improve overall operational effectiveness and efficiency across several industries.

Jason graduated from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina with degrees in Business Management and Computing and Information Technologies. He also holds an MBA from the University of Mississippi, and is a Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In his free time he enjoys spending time traveling with his family (especially his 6 year old daughter Caroline) and playing golf.
