Jean-Michel (JJ) Heffron

Jean-Michel (JJ) is a managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP. JJ serves as a Cloud Cyber Risk Leader for the Cyber & Strategic Risk practice of Deloitte Risk & Financial Advisory with a strong focus on Microsoft technologies. He has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Cloud Security, Infrastructure Operations, Software Development, Identity, End User Computing, Collaboration and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) technologies. JJ's role includes building cloud cyber capabilities, building a global talent pool for Deloitte Cloud Cyber services, and oversight over the delivery of cloud and infrastructure Cyber Risk services to global clients.

JJ has deep knowledge in Cloud Cyber Risk operations, developing security strategy, security governance, reference architectures for cloud and infrastructure computing, and delivering secure cloud computing ecosystems for multi-cloud environments. He aims to help multi-national clients adopt cloud services in a secure manner, while protecting data. Services provided to clients include NIST/ISO/CSA-based risk assessments and roadmaps for cloud computing readiness, providing near term and longer term design and implementation of cyber risk services across the cloud security domains such as automation and security guardrails, access and identity management, data protection, threat management, security architecture, network security and security logging and monitoring.

JJ has an MSC in Software Engineering from Oxford University, UK and an MBA from Durham University, UK.
