Jennifer Laing

Jennifer is a managing director in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s US Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice where she partners with life science executives to optimize and de-risk transactions. She has more than 15 years of M&A experience from both Deloitte and industry roles and has amassed more than $60B in cumulative deal value. Jennifer has advised and delivered sell- and buy-side programs across the transaction life cycle, including inorganic growth strategy development, target identification and cultivation, due diligence, and pre- and post-close planning and execution. She specializes in identifying and unlocking value mired in cross-functional complexities and brings this depth of insight to acquisitions, divestitures, and transformative endeavors. Her focus areas include operational due diligence, program management, Day 1 readiness and command center operations, Day 1/Day 2 planning and execution, synergy identification and planning, transition service agreement scoping, costing, and management, as well as post-close deal performance monitoring. Jennifer focuses on the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical technologies, representing both strategic and private equity clients.
