Joe has been with Deloitte for 20 years, and is currently a principal in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s global Life Sciences & Health Care industry practice. He has served industrial products companies and, since 2004, medical technology companies in areas such as operations improvement, sales transformation, M&A and post-merger integration, enterprise risk, and IT.
Joe’s primary role is acting as Deloitte’s global lead client service partner for Medtronic. He also serves on the global client risk management task force, which helps ensure Deloitte clients are managing in accordance with global risk and quality guidelines, creating higher client satisfaction and reduced risks for both our clients and our firm. Joe is on the market development partner and director promotion committee, and is also a certified trainer at Deloitte University, focusing on client relationship management strategies.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Joe was a client executive at IBM, where he led several of IBM’s global clients. He is an engineer by training, and has held a variety of engineering, manufacturing, and sales positions over his career at IBM. He has a passion for client service, building trusted advisor relationships, and developing and leading high-performing, multidisciplinary teams.
Outside of the firm, Joe serves on the Board of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Great Rivers Chapter in Pittsburgh, and is on the Executive Committee for the AHA Heart Walks in both Pittsburgh and Minneapolis. Joe is also on the advisory board of the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Supply Chain Management.
Joe earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, and is APICS certified.
