Joel Van Cott

Joel serves as the office managing partner for Deloitte LLP in Salt Lake City. He has more than 20 years of experience serving many of Deloitte’s largest clients in Utah, in addition to several multi-national clients with international operations. He is well-versed in group audits and managing component teams, and has significant experience in addressing technical matters including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration statements and reporting requirements, capital transactions, business combinations and purchase accounting, hedging and derivative transactions/strategies, and internal control analysis.
