Joseph Simpson

Joseph is an Audit managing director at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Joe has been practicing public accounting for more than 15 years since his start at Deloitte in August of 2005. Joe started his career in the New York office where he is from before transferring to the Las Vegas office in 2013.

Joe has a strong background in financial reporting, managing our testing of internal controls over financial reporting, and experience with SEC rules, regulations, and filings including quarterly and annual financial statements. Joe also has experience with accounting matters related to acquisitions, restatements, the adoption of new accounting guidance, and debt and equity offerings. Joe serves on a Premier engagement in the Travel, Hospitality, & Services industry and has an extensive background in this area along with others including retail, manufacturing, and utilities from previous experiences.
