Karen Van Compernolle

Karen is an Audit & Assurance partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP, based in the Dallas office, leading growth in the Life Sciences and Health Care industry. Karen serves privately and publicly held clients, including numerous large health care and pharmaceutical industry organizations. With nearly 25 years of experience, Karen has served companies with their audit needs through various stages of development.

She has experience in several technical accounting areas including initial and secondary public equity offerings, debt offerings, private placements, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex accounting transactions. Additionally, Karen previously served as the Industry Professional Practice Director focusing on healthcare provider industry matters and as member of the AICPA Revenue Recognition Task Force and the AICPA Healthcare Expert Panel. Karen also spent two years in Deloitte’s National Office in SEC Services. She has a BBA from Georgia State University.
