As the Senior Strategy Leader for Deloitte’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Institute™, Kashima is pursuing sustained equity and belonging. With a purpose-driven focus, she leverages her passion, experience, and knowledge of DEI to oversee the development of actionable, data-based research to advance equitable outcomes.
With over 20 years of experience, Kashima has implemented innovative strategic marketing and business initiatives across multiple industries and sectors. With her exceptional leadership skills and unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, Kashima has been instrumental in helping to embed DEI as a core component of the organization's values and practices. She has served as interim Chief of Staff for Deloitte’s Chief DEI Officer. She’s also a regional leader for Deloitte’s Black & Allies community, providing meaningful connections to foster culture building, education and awareness, and development.
She also led strategy, operations, and communications for the Deloitte US Risk & Financial Advisory Global Office. She drove the alignment and execution of US Global priorities for the Americas region. Additionally, she served as a marketplace marketer for the Atlanta/Birmingham office, lead client marketer for strategic accounts, and business marketer for Risk & Financial Advisory.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing and her Master of Business degree in international business from American InterContinental University.
A native of Bermuda, she and her husband reside in Cincinnati with their three children.
Kashima has co-authored or contributed to several research pieces, including Uncovering culture, The power of “I” in equity, Equity in the age of AI, and Flipping the script. She has led and participated in plenary and panel sessions at Deloitte’s Chief DEI Officer Forum, NABA’s Annual Convention & Expo, and The Female Quotient’s Equality Lounge @ Advertising Week.
