Laurent Féral-Pierssens

Laurent is a leader in the Blockchain practice of Deloitte Canada, specializing in digital assets and enterprise blockchain infrastructure. Laurent has 20 years’ experience advising organizations faced with technology disruption. Since 2016, Laurent helps clients design and build products and services based on blockchain innovation, decentralized infrastructure and digital assets transformation.

With a combination of business, scientific and technical skills, and 15 years of experience leading tech companies in Canada, the US and Europe as a founder and CEO, Laurent brings a unique perspective, execution and operational capabilities to its clients and teams.

Today, Laurent is one of Canada’s thought leaders on emerging technology. He is a regular speaker on the subject of fintech, transformation of the financial infrastructure, blockchain, cryptoassets and artificial intelligence.

Laurent holds a joint major in computer sciences and mathematics from McGill University. He is a member of the Quebec Regulator's Technology & Innovation Advisory Committee and a member of the Information Technology Program Committee of McGill School of Continuing Education.
