Matt Sullivan

Matt specializes in partnership taxation, with an emphasis on the use of partnerships in mergers and acquisition transactions, investment partnerships, partnership financial transactions, entity classification matters, and issues relating to partnership compensatory and noncompensatory equity.

Matt is the co-author of the Bloomberg BNA Tax Management Portfolio Partnership–Taxable income; Allocation of Distributive Shares; Capital Accounts, No. 712, and has published numerous articles on partnership taxation, including an annual Practising Law Institute article on guaranteed payments.

Matt received a BS in accounting from Lehigh University. He received a JD and an LLM in taxation magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
