Michael Niciforo

Mike is a principal in our Human Capital practice and a leader in our National Rewards practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP. In this role, he leads programs for large multinational employers and health care providers, drawing on his more than 30 years of experience providing actuarial and employee benefit consulting, with particular concentration on retirement benefits. Specifically, Mike works with organizations to assess rewards programs and strategically manage benefits. He recently led the development of Deloitte’s Rewards Optimization offering, which helps organizations develop cost-effective total rewards packages that employees value. His experience includes: accounting for benefit and compensation structures, including nonqualified plans, risk management and controls; due diligence of benefit programs during merger and acquisition transactions, designing total rewards strategies, developing funding strategies, de-risking strategies, and designing and administering retirement structures. Mike is a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary.
