Dr. Ramesh Vaidhyanathan is a managing director in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Energy Resources and Industrials Practice. He co-leads the Smart Manufacturing offerings for Energy and Chemicals Industries. He is passionate about industrial digital transformation of Chemicals and Materials, Downstream Refining, Oil & Gas and Process Manufacturing companies. The areas of his expertise are Business transformation, Smart Manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain & Operations, Asset Performance, Intelligent Automation, Advanced Process Control, Optimization, Decarbonization, Sustainability and Safety. He has more than 25 years of Industry, Chemical Engineering, Consulting & Technology experience at ExxonMobil, IBM and other leading global Energy and Chemicals company’s transformations utilizing Industry 4.0, Edge (IT-OT/IIoT), MES, MOM, APC, ERP (SAP), AI, ML Analytics, Digital Twins and Hybrid Cloud solutions. He earned his PhD in AI and Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and MBA from Columbia University. Ramesh is AWS Cloud certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
