Rosemary Williams

Rosemary is a specialist executive in Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice. Prior to joining Deloitte, Rosemary served as deputy assistant secretary of defense for Military Community & Family Policy where she received the Secretary of Defense Exceptional Civilian Service medal, and as assistant secretary of Veterans Affairs for Public & Intergovernmental Affairs. She also represented military families at the National Alliance for Suicide Prevention on behalf of the federal government and as agency representative to the White House Council on Military Families.

Rosemary’s work with military families and veterans follows a broadcast journalism career, during which she received numerous awards including a National Emmy Award for Team Coverage of the attacks on September 11^th as Executive Producer at MSNBC. She has written on mental health and military families and is author of Maritime Annapolis – A History of Waterman, Sails & Midshipmen.
