Sam Balaji is the Senior Advisor to Deloitte’s Global CEO and a continuing as a member of Deloitte’s Global Executive focused on strategic market initiatives and projects.
fSam previously led the Global Consulting, Financial and Risk Advisory businesses, and their respective Business Executive teams. He is a TMT Industry practitioner and brings three decades of experience that span key client and practice leadership roles in Deloitte Global, Deloitte US where he was on the Executive teams of AERS, Consulting and Risk Advisory in significant roles. He was also a member of the Deloitte US Board of Directors where he served as its Vice-Chairman, Chair of the Evaluation & Global committees and as a member of its Governance, Strategy, Risk and Strategic Investment Committees, in addition to serving on the DTTL Global Board of Directors.
He served as the Executive Sponsor for the firm’s Technology relationships, led US Consulting Services & Alliances, was the first Global leader who helped US firm establish JVs in Germany and India and was also the first leader to start up and establish the US Firm’s centers in India.
