Steven Tapp

Steven Tapp is a Managing Director in the Deloitte Government and Public Services (GPS) practice and serves as GPS Internal Audit Offering Leader within Deloitte's Accounting & Internal Controls (A&IC) Offering Portfolio. Steven has more than 30 years of experience managing major finance transformation and compliance programs for large complex organizations. His experience includes performing risk assessments, designing and executing comprehensive projects, and overseeing financial management activities. His work has encompassed the breadth of operations and systems at federal agencies; state, local and higher education organizations; and commercial enterprises. As an experienced CPA, he brings a well-rounded background in accounting advisory projects and has in-depth knowledge of finance and compliance operations.
