Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference
As the long term Intellectual Supporting Partner of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference for over a decade, we have joined with the most successful and influential business leaders, government officials, scholars and journalists to consider hot issues that affect the Asian economy and businesses. In addition, we have witnessed the growing importance of Asia in the global economy and the transformation of China into a global economic superpower.
To seize future opportunities, it is critical to stay open-minded for new ideas, take a broad view of the global economy. We believe it is timely to take a look back at the visionary journey of participants of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference that has brought us to the present and that will provide guidance on how we move into a new future.
World Economic Forum (WEF)
Annual Meeting of the New Champions
For more than three decades, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has been holding its Annual Meeting in Davos Switzerland each January which is attended by leaders of government, businesses, academia and the arts. The Annual Meeting of the New Champions (AMNC), also known as the "Summer Davos", was created in 2007 by the Forum to provide the leaders of high growth companies with opportunities to discuss with the leaders of established multinationals on topics that will help them realize their potential as future multinationals.
As a Strategic Partner of WEF, Deloitte plays an important role at the AMNC by participating in a series of panel discussions, workshops and industry partnerships in addition to organising a special event for WEF delegates.
China International Import Expo (CIIE)
2021 China International Import Expo (CIIE), organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, is set to open during 5-10 November at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai.
Through the previous CIIEs, Deloitte has not only been driven by its spillover effects, but also benefited from China's open and friendly business environment. Leveraging this international platform, we have fully demonstrated our innovative practice, thought leadership and prominent capability in professional services. Deloitte will showcase our leading-edge innovative solutions for businesses to lead at the forefront of sustainability in the industry as well as society.
