Grand Opening of Deloitte HiTech Ltd.

Deloitte HiTech Ltd. opened officially in Shanghai on 12 May. This new digital assets and IP development center will connect advanced technologies and business applications to enable transformation driven by innovation & digital services. Deloitte will further accelerate digital strategy deployment, and strengthen cooperation with government and other organizations to create a global innovation network.

2020 marks 175 year of Deloitte people making an impact that matters. Following our "Think. Create. Do" transformation methodology and fuelled by our Digital Difference, Deloitte HiTech is dedicated to exploring digital applications in professional services. With its years of professional services and digital product and service experience, Deloitte is committed to business innovation and helping clients accelerate innovation to achieve their business goals.

At the opening ceremony, Deputy-director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce Yang Chao, Deputy head of Pudong New Area Wang Hua, Deloitte China CEO Patrick Tsang, Deloitte China Innovation Leader Dora Liu and Deloitte China CDO Joseph Chu joined other representatives from public institutions and leading industry figures.

To conclude the event, Deloitte China Innovation Leader Dora Liu, SMCEI Division of Software and Information Service Sector Chief Liu, Shan Quan, EVP of Ericsson China Michael Wei, Plug and Play CEO Peter Xu, V Star Capital Partner Zhou, Fu Min, and SenseTime AI Fund Executive Director Jimmy Zhou joined a discussion to share their opinions on "New infrastructure and the new online economy".

They discussed how new infrastructure driven by technology innovation and based on information networks can cope with the needs of high-quality development and support digital transformation, intelligent upgrading and integrated innovation. In future, more consideration will be given to the integration of new infrastructure and new economies, creating new opportunities in new markets.
