I applied for Deloitte in the UK while I was studying for my Masters in International Business. Deloitte really appealed to me because they were the No.1 professional services firm in the UK market and I was constantly reading about the successes of their management consultancy practice in the Financial Times. I was also really impressed with the Deloitte employees I met at graduate career fairs, who all had incredibly interesting and inspirational personalities, with an infectious drive for success. When it came to applying for a graduate position I only sent one application, to Deloitte, because I knew that I wanted to work for the best and in an environment surrounded by people who would support me to grow and realise my full potential.

After nearly 4 enjoyable years working in the Operations Excellence service area of Consulting in London I realised that I needed further challenges and after I was posted on a project in the region and got a taste of the excitement working in the CIS, I made the decision to use the Deloitte Global Relocation programme to permanently move from London to Moscow. There are so many opportunities here to own and drive your career in any direction that you want, as long as you have enthusiasm and hard work to help you along the way.

The opportunities and satisfaction I get from my job are endless and I still jump out of bed early every morning with a smile on my face looking forward to going to work. I think the reason for my enthusiasm is that I know I am making a difference every day, through solving client problems in an innovative way with a great team behind me. I get to travel and see the world through the projects I work on and every day is different and I’m constantly learning new things.

I joined the firm at a great time, with lots of exciting changes on the horizon and I am looking forward to many more years working for Deloitte CIS.
