Carin Giuliante Assumes Helm as First Female Chair and CEO of Deloitte Tax LLP
A proven leader with over 30 years’ experience at Deloitte, Giuliante is committed to delivering results, driving growth and enhancing client trust
NEW YORK, June 07, 2023 — This week, Carin Giuliante officially assumed the role of chair and chief executive officer of Deloitte Tax LLP. The first female to lead Deloitte’s tax business, Giuliante succeeds Steve Kimble. Kimble served in the role for six years and will continue in leadership roles in the U.S. and globally.

Carin Giuliante Biography
Carin Giuliante is the chair and chief executive officer of Deloitte Tax LLP with leadership responsibility for more than 16,000 skilled tax professionals. She is also a member of the U.S. executive committee and the U.S. management committee and serves as an active partner for several of Deloitte's largest multinational clients.
With more than 30 years of experience both in the accounting profession and at Deloitte, Giuliante is passionate about delivering results, shaping strategy, driving growth and building trust with clients. She enjoys developing the next generation of talent and is committed to fostering a collaborative, purposeful and inclusive environment for all.
Previously, Giuliante led the East region for Deloitte Tax where she was responsible for all aspects of the region, including growth, talent and operations. She also served as a member of the Tax executive committee and the U.S. board of directors, where she was chair of the finance and audit committee.
Giuliante received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Hofstra University, her Juris Doctor from Hofstra School of Law, and her Master of Laws in taxation from New York University School of Law. She resides on Long Island with her husband and three children.
