Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has received various certifications for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Deloitte Global has also been leading various DEI initiatives worldwide, not just workplace inclusion but also social impact aspects.

We win Workplace Category over Disability Matters Asia-Pacific Award

Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has won Workplace Category over Disability Matters Asia Pacific Award, which is to honor and certify empowering organizations in disability inclusion.

This worldwide award with 17 years’ history has been held by Springboard Consulting LLC in three regions of North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, through the nominations and verification processes by the third party all year around. Every year, honorees are selected in three categories of Workforce, Marketplace and Workplace. The Workplace category is in consideration of a company’s programs/initiatives that speak to its culture relative to the support for resources, engagement, celebration and retention of employees who either have a disability or are caring for someone with a disability.

D&I Award 2021 - Best Workplace Accreditation and the Semi-Grand Prize

Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has received the Best Workplace Accreditation and the Semi-Grand Prize in the large company category of the D&I Award 2021! D&I Award 2021 has been established by JobRainbow to recognize D&I-empowering companies to further develop D&I in Japan.

PRIDE Index:Winning of Gold Award over  the Pride Index for 5 consecutive years!  

Pride Index is a guideline set by a voluntary organization "work with Pride", to measure initiatives over sexual minorities such as LGBT+ at work. Details are HERE.

J-win Diversity Award

2019 J-win Diversity Award Won both corporate and individual awards for building an inclusive corporate culture

Deloitte Tohmatsu Group won the 2019 J-win Diversity Award, for "Basic Achievement Award" in the corporate award category, and "Leader Award" in the individual award category to Keiko Hayashi, our D&I Partner.  J-win (Japan Women's Innovative Network), a Japanese NPO, has been hosting the awards since 2008, and has been recognized by Japan's leading diversity promotion companies.  We are the first Group Winner amongst the professional firms.  Click here for details. 

Catalyst Award

Catalyst, a leading global non-profit focused on accelerating progress for women in the workplace, has selected Deloitte for the prestigious Catalyst Award for 2020. This award is given to companies that lead in gender equality, and Deloitte Australia was recognized for its working environment to support all members, culture which supports diversity, and program to support women's career. Workplace Pride Global Benchmark

Workplace Pride Global Benchmark 2019 is a measure to evaluate sexual minority initiatives such as LGBT in the workplace, organized by a non-profit organization Workplace Pride based in the Netherlands. Deloitte Globe achieved top score in the Workplace Pride Global Benchmark 2019.

The following initiatives in Japan and global initiatives were highly evaluated.

  • Providing LGBT+ basic training and training for consultation members
  • Providing LGBT+ brochure to a broad range of readers (internal and external), composed of interviews with LGBT+ members, messages from CEO, etc. stating the importance of building an inclusive environment
