Disability Matters Asia-Pacific Award 2022 (Workplace Category)

Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has won Disability Matters Asia Pacific Award 2022 over Workplace Category, as a leading organization for disability inclusion.

This worldwide award with 17 years’ history has been held by Springboard Consulting LLC in three regions of North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, through the nominations and verification processes by the third party all year around. Every year, honorees are selected in three categories of Workforce, Marketplace and Workplace. The Workplace category is in consideration of a company’s programs/initiatives that speak to its culture relative to the support for resources, engagement, celebration and retention of employees who either have a disability or are caring for someone with a disability.

D&I Award - Best Workplace Accreditation and the Semi-Grand Prize

D&I Award is an award set by JobRainbow Co., Ltd. to acknowledge and recognize organizations empowering D&I in Japan.

In 2021, Deloitte Tohmatsu Group received Semi-Grand Prize over D&I Award (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) for empowering DEI within corporate culture, actions being taken by each employee, and for ensuring that DEI's philosophy is reflected in all aspects of our services and corporate structure, with external impacts. We have also been renewing Best Workplace certifications since 2021.

In 2022, Deloitte Tohmatsu Group was the only company scored in full over “Diversity Score” among the 547 organizations (including group entries) that participated in D&I Awards.

PRIDE Index

Deloitte Tohmatsu Group has been awarded the highest award of the Gold over the Pride Index for 6 consecutive years, which is set by the voluntary organization work with Pride to certify LGBT+ inclusive companies. Furthermore, Deloitte Tohmatsu Group achieved the Rainbow Certification in 2023, acknowledged by the collective impact across the sectors.

2024 J-Win Diversity Award: "Leader Award"

Kensuke Kurihara, a Partner of the Deloitte Tohmatsu Group and a member of the DEI Council of Deloitte Asia Pacific, received the "Leader Award" over the 2024 J-Win Diversity Award.
This award was established in 2008 by an NPO called J-win (Japan Women's Innovative Network). In 2019, Deloitte Tohmatsu was the first professional firm to receive both the company and personal prize, which makes this time as our third recognition.
