Equitable Board Network

Where ambition meets action on boardroom diversity

We believe that more diverse boards start with more diverse networks.

The Equitable Board Network (EBN) is a national network of board readiness programs initially focused on supporting executives from historically marginalized racial and ethnic groups.

The Equitable Board Network is a vital part of Deloitte's social impact investment, a commitment to help increase social and economic mobility. The EBN sits alongside and is informed by the successful and ongoing efforts to help increase gender diversity on US boards.

The programs address key elements of board readiness:

Board-specific knowledge

Sessions cover topics ranging from corporate governance to navigating the changing expectations of board service.

Board-level visibility

The EBN includes mentors, peers, and decision-makers with the knowledge and experience to help members extend their profiles at the board level.

We are proud to collaborate with a growing group of purposeful organizations who recognize that more diverse boards are more effective boards and are taking action to increase boardroom diversity.
