Meet the speakers
As executive director for the Deloitte Research Center for Energy & Industrials, Deloitte Services LP, Kate works closely with Deloitte’s Energy, Resources & Industrials (ER&I) leadership to drive energy research initiatives. In tandem with Deloitte’s ER&I partners, Kate manages the execution of the Center’s strategy as well as eminence and thought leadership. During her more than 20-year career as an energy and mobility leader, Kate has occupied senior roles in energy research and consulting/advisory firms. Kate has led global research teams based in North America, Europe, and Asia, and she has worked with energy and automotive companies, institutional investors, and start ups. She is also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Amy Chronis is vice chair, the US Oil, Gas & Chemicals (OG&C) leader, and the managing partner for Deloitte’s Houston practice. Chronis has more than 30 years of experience serving public and private enterprises from emerging businesses to Fortune 500 companies, with a focus on the OG&C, technology, and manufacturing industries. Chronis served as Deloitte’s US lead relationship partner for one of the world’s largest integrated oil and gas companies, as well as other Houston enterprises. In addition to her Houston practice leadership role, she is the US lead relationship partner for several international Oil, Gas & Chemical companies.
David Yankovitz is a principal at Deloitte Consulting LP and a Chemical practice leader with more than 25 years of experience developing strategies and innovations leading to the sustained growth and profitability of companies in the oil, gas, and chemicals sector. He is known for building relationships with CEOs and C-level executives at domestic and international companies, providing them with expansion strategies and cost-containment initiatives. Yankovitz’s wide breadth of experience encompasses business strategies, digital transformation, mergers and acquisitions, supply chain, manufacturing, customer experience, and business process reengineering.
