Dr. Jacob Bruun-Jensen is a senior corporate strategist with more than 25 years of strategic planning experience in consulting and the consumer industry, advising executive teams and boards on growth and shareholder value creation. He has served on Deloitte Consulting LLP’s Consumer Industry leadership team and led the Innovation portfolio. As one of Deloitte Consulting LLP’s thought leaders on business model innovation and transformation, Dr. Bruun-Jensen works with consumer companies to make sense of the converging forces of consumer changes, digital technologies, and business ecosystems to reimagine business and operating models. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration in business model innovation from the Rothman School of Management at the University of Toronto and Henley Business School at the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. Dr. Bruun-Jensen researches and writes about digital business transformation and is the co-author of “Business model innovation in consumer goods” and “Minimum viable transformation,” part of Deloitte University’s Business Trends series. He has lived and worked in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Denmark. Dr. Bruun-Jensen is passionate about wine and is a DipWSET, Certified Sommelier, and a UC–Davis wine program graduate. Since 2014, he has made award-winning, small-lot wines in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California.

Justin is the research leader for the consumer products sector within Deloitte’s Consumer Industry Center, Deloitte Services LP. He also conducts cross-sector research for the center, examining issues such as how inflation, sustainability, and trust affect consumer behavior. With more than 20 years of experience in market research, management consulting, and technology, Justin asks challenging questions and helps clients understand how the world is changing. Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Lupine Skelly is a manager at Deloitte Services LP’s Consumer Industry Center and leads research for the Retail, Wholesale & Distribution sector.
