Stanley Porter
Stanley Porter serves as Deloitte’s Global and US Energy, Resources & Industrials industry leader. He oversees and drives the development and execution of the overall ER&I strategy across all geographies and businesses, including more than 44,000 professionals and serving close to 75% of the Fortune Global 500 clients. He has more than 30 years of industry and global client leader experience, and he has worked with some of the largest names in the industry.
John Diasselliss
John is a principal and has been primarily focused on the mining and metals sectors for most of his career, during which he has supported senior executives across a variety of strategic, operational, financial and technology business areas to evaluate and enhance their company’s approaches to managing and taking risk, considering emerging trends and realizing business value. He currently serves as the Lead Advisory Business Partner for Freeport-McMoRan Inc., Newmont Mining and The Mosaic Company and Lead Client Service Partner for several non-program accounts. John also has extensive, and hands-on, experience leading teams across the Americas, Asia, Europe and Africa, which has enabled him to develop deep relationships across the firm’s global mining and metals industry team. John is originally from New Orleans, LA and has also lived in Atlanta, GA and Phoenix, AZ. He currently calls Denver, CO home with his wife and three kids. Outside of work and family, he enjoys music (live concerts, vinyl!), great food and traveling.
Christian Grant
Christian Grant is a principal in the Power, Utilities and Renewables practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP, focused on his clients' strategic and operations challenges. He brings more than 10 years of management consulting experience working with power and utilities companies as both a consultant and business leader in the industry. Grant architects and delivers smart operational solutions that address regulatory, technological, and consumer shifts. His projects include operational improvement, business transformation, M&A, and green field strategy design.
Kate Hardin
Kate Hardin leads Deloitte’s research team focused on the implications of the energy transition for the industrial, oil, gas, and power sectors and has an experience of more than 25 years in the energy industry. Before that, she led IHS Markit Ltd’s integrated coverage of transportation decarbonization and the implications for automotive and energy companies.
Geoff Tuff
Geoff has more than 30 years of experience consulting to some of the world’s top companies on the subjects of growth, innovation, and adapting business models to deal with change. Currently, he is a principal at Deloitte and holds various positions across the firm’s Sustainability, Innovation and Strategy practices. Those include leadership of the US Hydrogen Practice and all Sustainability, Climate and Equity work for clients in the energy and industrials sectors. Prior to this, he led the innovation firm Doblin and was a senior partner at Monitor Group, serving as a member of its global Board of Directors. Geoff’s work centers on helping clients transform their businesses to grow and compete in nontraditional ways. Over the course of his career, Geoff has worked in virtually every industry and he uses his breadth and diversity of experience to bring novel insights about how things might operate to clients stuck in industry conventional wisdom. Geoff is valued for his integrative approach to solving problems; he combines deep analytic and strategic expertise with a natural orientation toward approaches embodied in design thinking. A widely sought-after speaker and writer on the topic of growth through innovation, Geoff has written for a variety of outlets, including Harvard Business Review. Geoff is co-author of the national bestsellers Detonate: Why–and How–Corporations need to Blow up Best Practices (and Bring a Beginner’s Mind) to Survive (Wiley 2018) and Provoke: How Leaders Shape the Future by Overcoming Fatal Human Flaws (Wiley 2021). He holds degrees from Dartmouth College and Harvard Business School.
