Mark is a principal in Deloitte Tax LLP, and the Co-Leader of the firm's Legal Business Services practice. Legal Business Services leverages Deloitte’s global multi-disciplinary approach to provide innovative solutions to legal departments. From across a single global platform, Deloitte is bringing to bear for the legal department, the transformative approach that has shaped other business functions and industries. Mark is helping drive Deloitte’s full suite of transformation offerings in Legal Managed Services and Legal Management Consulting. With more than 15 years of in-depth, practical experience, Mark is a recognized specialist in Legal Services innovation. Prior to joining Deloitte in January 2020, Mark was Head of Contracts, Compliance, and Commercial Services for a leading global alternative legal services provider (ALSP). There he led a team of 350 lawyers, paralegals, contract management professionals, legal technologists, and process experts, providing technology enabled legal managed services, and legal management consulting to multi-national organizations. Mark also has considerable experience relating to the Ethics of Legal Outsourcing and has numerous articles and papers published dealing with the subject. He developed the first US State Bar MCLE Ethics and UK CPD courses on the ethical implications of outsourcing legal work. His experience in alternative legal services includes addressing the American Bar Association, Law Societies of England and Wales, and South Africa, the Legal Services Board of Victoria, Australia, the Solicitors Regulation Authority, and the International Bar Association on the topic. He has been interviewed by numerous publications, including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and TIME magazine. He has also been invited to speak as a leading authority on the future of law by organizations including: Financial Times, UC Berkeley School of Law, Northwestern University, Stanford Center for the Legal Profession, and the International Legal Ethics Association. Mark sits on the Advisory Boards of Suffolk Law School’s Institute on Law Practice Technology and Innovation and Northwestern University Law School's Center for Practice Engagement and Innovation. In February 2016 he was elected as a Fellow in the College of Law Practice Management.

Teju is also passionate about diversity and inclusion and has been an active volunteer supporting causes focused on women and girls, education, hunger, and the environment. She has previously served on the board of Pratham USA (Chicago Chapter), Allowance for Good, and Baker Demonstration School. She received her Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from Pune University in India, Master’s in electrical engineering from Florida State University, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Santa Clara University.
