Financial accounting and reporting workshops
Tailored insights as your company evolves
Is your organization looking to transform? Are you considering an independent financial statement audit? Is your organization struggling to meet the new regulatory requirements with the accounting standards? Or are you preparing for a major transaction–an IPO, sale, SPAC merger, spinoff, or other milestone event? It is critical to be well prepared for these complex processes. Deloitte offers a range of customizable workshops to address considerations related to all of these questions.
Available workshops include:
Audit Readiness
An audit is an opportunity for insight, one that can help leaders see further and deeper into their businesses and can help inform vital decisions. This workshop covers a wide spectrum of topics, including an explanation of what a financial statement audit entails; keys to successful audit planning and timing; common accounting practices and challenges; workable solutions to those challenges; and an introduction to internal controls.
IPO Readiness
This immersive session is based on our extensive experience in helping hundreds of companies go public. As privately held companies prepare for an IPO, they need to focus on the development of clear organizational goals. These can help businesses prioritize activities, enhancing their ability to both meet their IPO timeline and operate effectively on Day 1.

SOX Readiness
Organizations that understand and assess their current state prior to adoption of SOX are typically better positioned to minimize external costs and leverage internal resources and knowledge efficiently and effectively. The SOX Readiness Lab includes participation from a
cross-section of your company’s executives, focusing on the interdependencies of each group and their tasks in the creation of an overall SOX readiness road map.
SPAC Readiness
More and more private companies are considering SPAC transactions as an option to take their company public. However, going through a SPAC transaction has its own set of unique challenges, which should be considered. These workshops can help companies understand SPACs and what their executives need to consider to be SPAC ready, from quality and readiness of financial reporting processes to when to engage outside advisers.
