school success
Preparing today’s students for the jobs of tomorrow
The Deloitte Foundation supports school success by matching US Deloitte professionals’ gifts to US colleges and universities and making grants to education nonprofit organizations and academic institutions. Committed to excellence, we help build pathways to opportunity for the next generation.
Program resources and initiatives for schools
Donations from US Deloitte professionals to two-year, four-year, and graduate degree-granting US colleges and universities, including Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Hispanic-Serving Institutions, are matched by the Foundation to provide scholarships, curriculum, faculty support, and more. (Deloitte professionals can learn about supporting higher education by searching “Matching Gifts” on DeloitteNet.) For example:
Faculty Support
The Foundation’s matching program has funded more than $20 million in endowed professorships, fellowships, and chairs, to help universities attract and retain top faculty.
The Deloitte Foundation engages with local Deloitte leaders to make strategic investments in select education nonprofits that help prepare students for meaningful careers in business, accounting, and STEM. Grants focus on supplemental learning experiences and resources, as well as career exposure opportunities. For example:
High School STEM Curriculum
A Deloitte Foundation grant is supporting 1,000 low-income high school students with free access to a first-of-its kind STEM equity lab and a college-level coding and robotics course/computer science certification.
Historically Black Colleges and Universities Program Grants
Through Through Deloitte Foundation grants to select HBCUs, we are supporting accounting programs, including curriculum development, faculty development, high school summer programming, community college, transfer bridge programs, as well as accounting/analytics labs.
Hispanic-Serving Institution Program Grants
Deloitte Foundation grants to HSIs are supporting both high school and college students as they explore education and career pathways. Programs include pre-college enrichment for high school students considering a business major, a small classroom experience for first-generation students majoring in accounting, and a bridge program to help transferring students navigate the transition into a new university.
