Deloitte Foundation case study competitions

The Deloitte Foundation’s annual case competitions provide students from around the country an educational experience that engages them in envisioning the possibilities of a professional services career and helps develop the profession’s future workforce by introducing them to real-world challenges.

Deloitte Foundation case study competitions

The Foundation introduces relevant real-world experiences to students through its case study programs for undergraduate, graduate, and MBA students. The Foundation sponsors student case study competitions in the areas of audit, advisory, tax, and consulting, with scholarships awarded to top achievers. More than 2,400 students participate annually in the competitions. The events provide students with the opportunity to not only build technical competency and explore the types of practical issues that our professionals encounter every day, but also to experience aspects of the professional working environment, including collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.

National Audit Innovation Campus Challenge

This national educational event, helps students put their skills and experience to work by responding to an audit challenge statement and generate innovative ideas that can be applied to the audit profession. The competition not only provides a platform for creative minds to help evolve the audit process and ideate new assurance services, but it also plays a pivotal role in developing and shaping the profession’s future workforce by introducing them to real-world challenges.

Cyber Threat Competition

The Deloitte Foundation Cyber Threat Competition is facilitated by the Deloitte Advisory cyber risk services practice to help college students develop the skills needed to address increasingly sophisticated cyber risks in the marketplace. The program tests both students’ technical cyber knowledge as well as their business acumen. Students have the opportunity to experience a real-world cyber incident and determine how to respond by using their technical, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.

FanTAXtic National Case Study Competition

Deloitte FanTAXtic is designed to familiarize students with the tax profession early in their academic careers. The interactive competition offers students the opportunity to work in teams to solve a realistic business case, role play, and present their solution to Deloitte leaders, which helps them better understand the types of experiences and business challenges they can expect from a career in tax.

MBA National Case Competition (NCC)

The MBA NCC brings together students from top-tier MBA programs from across the country. During the competition, students get to test their critical thinking and business knowledge through a case simulation of a topical, complex business issue.
