Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program

The Deloitte Foundation supports programs that work in parallel with Deloitte’s MADE (Making Accounting Diverse and Equitable) commitment. Over the next several years, the Deloitte Foundation expects to fund $30 million in scholarships for students, including students interested in pursuing a fifth-year master’s degree in accounting, master's of tax or master's of accounting with a concentration in audit, advisory or tax through the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program. In the spirit of supporting a diverse student population and to strengthen the pipeline of diverse talent entering the CPA profession, the Deloitte Foundation and participating universities will provide the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars a scholarship that covers 100% of their tuition (excluding books and living expenses) for the 2023–2024 academic year.

Interested in applying? Here’s the process:

  • Students should apply for admission to any of the nearly 20 designated schools' master's of accounting program, master's of tax program, or master's of accounting program with concentration in audit, advisory, or tax for the 2023–2024 academic year and separately apply for the Deloitte Foundation scholarship at the school. Select a participating DFASP school below where you will find DFASP scholarship criteria and other important information.
  • The university will select and notify scholarship recipients.

Scholarship recipient requirements:

  • Upon notification and acceptance from the university, each scholarship recipient would be accepted and enrolled in the university’s master’s of accounting program, master's of tax program, or master's of accounting program with concentration in audit, advisory, or tax for the 2023–2024 program period.
  • Scholarship recipients must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) for all semesters and upon graduation.
