Meet the US Delivery Center team: Aradhna Kapoor

Four years ago, the stars aligned for Aradhna Kapoor, senior solutions manager with Deloitte Consulting LLP. As a consultant, she was on the road traveling to her clients to help deliver technology solutions. Her situation shifted and she was starting to explore other opportunities at Deloitte that more closely matched her new professional and personal goals.

Pregnant with twins, Aradhna was preparing for her parental leave when the US Delivery Center in Gilbert, Arizona, opened its doors. “I had this path right in front of me with the Delivery Center opening,” she said. “It was the perfect opportunity at the right time.”

A few years prior, Aradhna had been struggling with the decision to start a family while traveling and felt like she needed time to focus on what was most important to her. After talking to one of her leaders, she was encouraged to take a sabbatical, and came back to work more charged and happier, personally and professionally.

“All I had to do was raise my hand and ask for support,” Aradhna said. “It blew my mind. I appreciated having a leader to go out of their way to help everything work out for me personally.” Her 18-year Deloitte career has been filled with this type of support. “It’s a special place. Leadership isn’t just saying things, they really mean it.”

Aradhna’s decision to join the US Delivery Center brought her the balance she was looking for. “As a working mother, the USDC is amazing. We have the flexibility to work from home through our hybrid work model,” she shared. “I get to be in the office for important initiatives and to connect with my colleagues while also being at home in the morning to have breakfast with my kids and get them to school.”

Her successful career journey is something she passionately shares with other professionals at Deloitte. “One of the things I always tell other colleagues is, ‘Don't hesitate to ask. When you raise your hand to seek help, someone will be right there to help you find a solution.”
