An orientation program designed to help set new hires up for success

Deloitte recently launched a new and evolved orientation program called DLaunch. Not your typical run of the mill orientation, DLaunch was created to provide an engaging and interactive experience for new hires. The new program maximizes in-person time to focus on culture and connection during their critical first days.

“The experience is designed to help new hires feel valued, connected, and empowered to serve the organization and our clients,” shared Deloitte Services LP’s New Hire Experience Manager Rachel Meredith. “Everything from the activities, layout, colors, and the food was designed to reflect Deloitte’s culture.”

During the orientation, new hires meet with senior leaders and tenured professionals who share insightful experiences and tips to help them get acclimated and set up for success. New hires are also encouraged to interact and connect with each other through games and activities in a lively, collaborative environment.

First impressions

The first few days for new hires represent a critical period for our team to connect, engage, and to reinforce their decision to join the Deloitte family. We checked in with a few new hires to gauge their thoughts on DLaunch. Here’s what they had to say:
