Computing AI & Machine Learning Awards 2022 Special Award: Best AI StrategyThe AI Institute was awarded the Special Award for Best AI Strategy. Artificial intelligence will change how we work and act in the coming years, and a strategy to deal with this change is a must. The 2022 Computing AI & Machine Learning Awards recognized the Deloitte AI Institute for its business plan and strategy that covers the short- and long-term impact of AI and supports the organization’s transition to an AI-based future. The Institute’s approach to AI strategy was applauded for its grounding in ethics and design to mitigate potential threats. Additionally, the awards committee left remarks commenting “Particularly impressive was the strong considerations given to ethics, diversity, equity and inclusion, in addition to the potential for commercial opportunities using AI. 2022 Stevie Award Silver Award: For women in businessBeena Ammanath has been awarded the silver Stevie Award for Female Thought Leader of the Year. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run—worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” more than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories.
