Diversified energy provider Multinational diamond mining company

The introduction of household smart meters in Victoria, Australia, nearly a decade ago, gave diversified energy provider Jemena an unprecedented amount of data that it stores in on-premises data warehouse. While Jemena’s data warehouse met their reporting and regulatory requirements, it lacked the flexibility and agility to enable the company to respond nimbly to market forces. Jemena collaborated with Deloitte and Amazon Web Services to build a new cloud-based platform that delivers valuable insights from its smart meter data to better support its customers and business stakeholders.

A multinational diamond mining company needed a clear and real-time perspective of their operational performance. Deloitte designed, built, and implemented a sustainable digital solution powered by AWS and Deloitte’s Intelligent Mining’s digital capabilities to swiftly identify and fix bottlenecks in the value chain.
