How cloud-powered AI is transforming the US government
Part of the On Cloud Podcast series
Cloud powers AI, and it enables enterprises to innovate more quickly and effectively. It's no different for the US government, which is leveraging AI to better meet the demands of its rapidly changing constituency.
AI is transforming the US government, and it’s powered by cloud
The US government (USG) is a hotbed of AI innovation right now, and that innovation is powered by cloud. In this episode, David Linthicum talks with Google Cloud’s Scott Frohman and Deloitte’s Vishal Kapur about how various USG agencies are using cloud as a force multiplier for their AI-fueled efforts to remake their agencies to better serve a modern nation. The trio discusses how the USG is leveraging AI and cloud, the benefits and challenges in the journey, and the future of cloud-powered AI.
It's an exciting time to be able to leverage these technologies and make a real impact. So, the business case is quite compelling.

AI/ML: Easier, faster, and more powerful with cloud
AI/ML isn't new, but pairing it with cloud is enabling companies to use AI/ML in new ways, and with new capabilities to perform more sophisticated, accurate analytics to better serve their customers.
Cloud and AI will merge, but complexity will be a challenge
The future of cloud and AI are inextricably linked, but their relationship holds both promises and challenges. However, companies that manage the complexity will reap the benefit of the rewards.
