Deloitte, a leading provider of cloud security professional services and Netskope, a leading cloud security platform provider focused on data and threat protection, have aligned to help enterprise, municipal, and federal organizations to better secure remote workers, protect critical workloads from internal and external threats, and enable the securing of Zero Trust-based architectures and initiatives.

Together, we help organizations safely embrace digital transformation initiatives, through the delivery of Zero Trust data protection services that combine Netskope’s leading cloud-native Security Services Edge (SSE) platform with Deloitte’s award-winning Cyber & Strategic Risk services. Through its experience and data-centric, systematic approach, Deloitte can help organizations efficiently manage the onboarding and transformation of cloud security programs to leverage Netskope’s SSE cloud-native security stack to achieve their desired business outcomes, such as protecting sensitive data, establishing operationally efficient security programs, and protecting SaaS/IaaS/PaaS environments from cyber breaches such as misconfigurations. Netskope has enabled more than 2,000 customers to build integrated security programs, helping them detect, protect, and remediate threats and data loss risks, along with achieving security and regulatory compliance of their cloud-based solutions and operating environments. The Netskope cloud security platform is aimed at providing enterprises with real-time visibility and insights, threat protection, and data loss prevention across thousands of cloud services. These protections are also provided via a data-at-rest approach for today’s top cloud solutions by continuously monitoring for new data risks, malware threats, and user behaviors to identify internal and external threat actors.

Future of Work: Ways of working in uncertain times

Zero Trust Data Protection

Netskope Zero Trust Data Protection brings data loss prevention (DLP) together with innovative technologies such as machine learning, User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) onto a converged SSE platform for context-aware access to data across web, cloud, email, private apps, and endpoints. Working to achieve desired business outcomes and data privacy goals, Deloitte implements and manages Zero Trust Data Protection to help organizations attain greater visibility and risk mitigation across all key vectors, while increasing business productivity by reducing friction with flexible context-driven policies.

Cloud security

As enterprises put more and more data into cloud applications, it becomes important to protect against threats and identify what data is stored where and who is accessing it. A cloud access security broker (CASB) can identify and help mitigate threat risks, while also enabling the application of DLP policies to SaaS applications via both inline traffic analysis and with back-end API integration with applications directly. Deloitte advises, plans, deploys, and integrates CASB with enterprise IT tools to extend organizations’ information security policy footprint beyond the perimeter and into their cloud applications with a single console for their administrators to apply controls.

SaaS Security Posture Management

Misconfiguration is the top reason why SaaS applications are compromised. Deloitte’s experience in defining appropriate configurations and avoiding configuration drift helps organizations understand whether they are in line with established security policies and operational standards, even in multi-cloud application environments. Deloitte uses Netskope’s SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) to automate this process and relieves administrator burden for what is usually a significant set of rigorous tasks.

Deloitte + Netskope, better together

Deloitte’s award-winning Cyber & Strategic Risk services and Netskope’s platform security capabilities have come together to provide broad solutions designed to help organizations simplify complex cloud and data security while increasing speed and agility, helping them to confidently protect their most important digital initiatives and realize the full value of their cybersecurity investments. Our solutions help organizations create a cyber-minded culture and become stronger, faster, more innovative, and more resilient in the face of persistent and ever-changing cyberthreats, all while accelerating time to market and reducing costs.

Attaining security without compromising user experience

Netskope can be deployed via multiple modes, including the deployment of an endpoint client.

The Netskope endpoint client enhances security by monitoring inline cloud traffic with a small footprint on end-user devices. Deployment without the Netskope client is also possible with network log forwarding and API integration with SaaS applications and IaaS environments, without impact on end-user experiences.

Additionally, due to the locations of Netskope POPs (points of presence) around the globe and in the same data centers as most cloud applications’ POPs, user experience of web performance could potentially be more improved when using Netskope than without it.

Deloitte accelerators for dashboard and reporting templates are available that showcase the end-user experience as well as the performance gains provided by moving to Netskope.
